Hi, I'm Liam Walpole. I'm a Brisbane-based stop-motion specialist animator and fabricator, designer, photographer and media coordinator. I have recently finished my Honours Degree and Bachelor of Animation at Griffith University. I have completed my stop motion final year film, Bone Meal, which I wrote and successfully pitched. I have been working with the stop-motion medium since 2013. I was runner up in 20th Century Fox and Griffith University’s collaborative Isle of Dogs Stop-Motion Film Competition in 2018 and worked on the Griffith Film School production Sourdough in 2019. I have an unrivalled passion  for stop-motion and when not immersed in it, you'll find me listening to retro music in my spare time.

I started animating with action figures in early high school. I developed a passion and progressed to a DSLR camera, proper editing software and, after sharing my creations on YouTube, eventually chose animation to be my tertiary degree and career. Now using industry standard programs.

The last 12 months I have been fortunate enough to work on several amazing projects including a Premier TEDx Event in Brisbane, and Graphic Design work for Australia's favourite QSR chain, KFC.

I can realise a vision in stop-motion or alternate animation techniques, graphic design, and other media, whether it be for business or something more personal. I'd love to hear from you!
